PHASE 1 EARLY YEARS
Our Early Years section was built on a green field site in Kanokodai in a delightful lightly residential area with open countryside, nature and abundant clean fresh air on our doorstep.
ASCOT FOOTBALL ACADEMY KOBE
On site we also have a professional–standard, full-sized soccer pitch for sports and other outdoor activities.
SAFETY
Ascot International School Japan is built on a very secure foundation, a site used as an earthquake evacuation centre in the past. Its elevation and open aspect ensures it is a safe location in relation to the range of seismic and weather events which can affect Japan from time to time.
SECURITY
The safety of our children is a priority. An intercom system allows controlled access to the site and an additional check allows entry to the Campus, which is surrounded by a fence and CCT cameras with facial recognition for security purposes. We have All visitors sign in and wear a visitors badge while on the premises. 24/7 security is provided by Secom.
At the end of the day children are dismissed by Class Teachers only to parents or designated caretakers known to the school. Car parking is available on site.
PHASE 2 SECONDARY SCHOOL
The Middle and Secondary School was finished in September 2020. This school has 4 classrooms, a science lab, art room, kitchen and has facilities for students with physical disabilities.
The school has high ceilings with wooden beams and incorperates natural building techniques such as bale walls, clay for interior walls as well as natural paints in the art room. Every room has a great airflow and plenty of natural light.
PHASE 2 Gymnasium
The gym allows for students to explor many sports and feel safe in a well ventillated environment.
We have basketball, volleyball and badmitton avalable in the gym.
Students also use this area for rainy days so they have a large open area to enjoy.
